Bangladesh Office: Md. Abdul Jalil, Project Coordinator

Master of Government and Politics; Master of Agriculture in Plant Pathology; B. Sc. in Agriculture (Hons)

Mr. Jalil has 15 years of experience with international development organizations and with the Bangladesh Rural Development Board in the field of rural livelihoods, capacity building, agriculture, farming, value chain marketing and market development for rural products. He has strong knowledge and skills in rural livelihoods and sustainable development, planning and implementation of livelihoods project as well as wide range of experiences in implementing partnership projects and developing programs’ strategies. He has proven skills in program monitoring, training design, facilitation and capacity building of partner organizations and staff. Using his skills in data analysis and qualitative and quantitative research, Jalil has documented a series of social and technical issues related to rural livelihoods.

In addition to his Bangladesh experience, Mr. Jalil designed and facilitated a capacity building workshop to develop tools for data collection in order to establish households’ baseline and support the planning, implementation and monitoring of CHF’s Livelihood Approach to Food Security, Environmental Protection and Governance project in Cambodia.
